Officially, this is a Nature Preserve. It's wildly popular, and each corner of the Preserve offers something different. From the abandoned Sea View Trolley line to cedar forests and holly trees, and amazing seashell-covered shoreline. Take in some great views of Bissell Cove, Jamestown, and Fox Island.

Ball fields, basketball courts, public boat launch, and a short paved bike path around the outer edge. Well-maintained. A great spot to take a jog or a walk to.

Quintessential, picturesque, classic New England. In fact, it's so "New" England that it was built in 1707, and has England's flag hanging inside it, as the area was under an English charter during that time.

This street down to the water is lined with 18th and 19th century homes that have been restored to perfection. Brick and cobble-lined sidewalks, old storefronts, and historic, grandiose churches. Be sure to walk down the side streets as well. All of the historic houses have a marker on them with the year that they were built.

Academy Cove was once coveted as a sheltered spot to build ships. Now it offers a picturesque scene in the center of the village, surrounded by historic houses and stone sea-walls, with the old Sea-View Trolley line cutting right through the middle.
