A beautiful stand of Giant Sequoias located right off the Road. There is plenty of room to pull off and walkaround and take some pictures of yourselves and these giant wonders. And no entrance fee! Bring some water and a snack or pick something up at the Dinkey Creek Market and Deli on the way up.

A perfect 1 mile easy hike to the waterfall. Bring water and sunscreen, then get some lunch at the Lakeshore Restaurant and Saloon at Huntington Lake.

You may see many animals around Shaver Lake, even in the downtown village area where our cabin is. Please be mindful that these animals are not pets and should be left alone.
