Carousel has recently renovated their complex to have a host of new restaurants, shops and entertainment facilities. I could have put it in almost every category. A must see for your stay and only a short bus ride away.

A little further than Spencer Village, Thornlie Square has a bigger range of shops and food outlets. This is typically where I do all my own shopping.

Arts & Culture

Perth Cultural Centre has become a popular meeting place for locals and visitors. Sitting between the city centre and Northbridge, it’s the cultural heart of the city with a vibrant mix of arts, music, food, entertainment and festivals. Check out the WA museum, state library and Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA).

Drinks & Nightlife

Down a little known alley is a host of bars and my personal favourite is the Mechanics bar. Also down this way is Joe's Juice Joint, but don't be fooled, it's a slice of an Americana dive bar.
