Overlook offering panoramic views of the valley, forest and sheer cliffs in a popular recreation spot. Not busy like other lookouts as it's not near any main roads, you drive down a dirt track. Short walk down to the lookout. There are 3-4 different platforms where you can enjoy the view from. Definitely recommend if you want to take in a stunning view in serenity.

One of the better lookouts in the Blue Mountain in terms of the view. Very historic location with and old stacked stone picnic cabana and open fire pits. A delightful lookout that provides sweeping panoramic views of the Megalong Valley. Only 10-15 minutes drive from the town centre and is well worth it! The road from the town of Blackheath does get a bit narrow and windy on the way to the lookout, the last section of the road is unsealed. However , the road is in good condition and easy for any car to manage.

Beautiful views on a clear day. Fort Rock is one of the coolest places in the Blue Mountain, it's 1.5 km from town but you do have to go up and down fairy narrow trail through the bush to get there. It's an absolutely stunning destination.
