They have the best tacos and margaritas in the city. Honestly, I don't think you could find a better spot for a romantic date that also included mexican food.

This small restaurant may require a reservation but it's perfect for a date night if you want something a little higher-end. Incredible dishes and a great cocktail list, you'll fall in love with this place! Rory, the owner, is amazing and keeps the menu updated seasonally. He also co-owns Re:public in SLU!

This cozy neighborhood spot is the perfect place for quiche in the morning or soup or a sandwich in the afternoon. They always have fresh squeezed orange juice and a couple beers in their fridge!

This place can get a bit rowdy in the evenings and can be fun if you're into that but it's a great spot for brunch as well! Full bar, great diner-y brunch selections and quirky decor!

Best older bar in the neighborhood and the bartenders will remember your name if you sit at the bar a couple times. Great drinks and the food menu from Olympia pizza next door, which they offer in Harry's, is outstanding. Be aware - the food portions are giant! Food is served until 1am.

The Volunteer Park Conservatory is an amazing glass building with four plant houses. Go if you like plants or if you just want to take a walk through the neighborhood and end up somewhere warm! Volunteer Park Cafe isn't far and serves great food for the morning and afternoon.

Glasswing is one of the most thoughtfully curated shops I've ever been inside. They have home wares, bath items, skincare, and some of the most interest brands for clothing. They have some of their plants in the shop as well as plants in their plant store around the corner. A must visit, in my book.
