Fainting Goat is a local favorite. Featuring live music on the weekends, a summer sunset series, and lots of space to bring a picnic, this winery is only 10 minutes from the house. Grab a picnic basket and bring your kids and dogs. The wines are good and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. And hey, there are goats!

Downtown Jasper is just 20 minutes from the house. Cute shops, restaurants, coffee places and some funky art locations. Jasper is the Pickens county seat, so the old courthouse and jail are fun to see. Not to mention, we are the Marble Capital of GA!

Getting around
Shop before you arrive
The closest grocery store to us is on 515, about 25 minutes away, so it's best to shop before you arrive. That way if you want to hole up and stay on the mountain, you're covered.
