Things to do near the Lake
- Visit downtown Davidson and do a walking tour or coffee/breakfast at Toast Café
- Grab wine at the wine bar next to North Harbor Club and then go for a sunset ride with a captain on the boat (if weather permits) and grab dinner at North Harbor Club or Hello Sailor (he could drop you off at Hello Sailor)
- Wine/wine tasting at Daveste Vineyards in Troutman
- Dinner at Kindred in Downtown Davidson (award winning)
- Lake Norman State Park is a pretty place on the lake for walking and hiking
- Birkdale Village in Huntersville for some shopping and dinner
Getting around
Things to do in Charlotte
- Explore the Victorian houses of Fourth Ward (walking tour) – lots of history. Start off at a fun coffee shop nearby and bring coffee along the way.
- Visit a museum – Mint Museum or Levine Museum of the Arts is pretty cool and they always have new exhibits.
- Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden is a fun place to tour and super pretty – really good food, if their food center is open too.
- Grab lunch/coffee at Dunhill Hotel
- Grab lunch/explore South End
- A good fun place to hang out is Optimist Hall
- Church & Union has good food and good vibes
