The Varick Street area in Downtown Utica offers a wide range of bars and restaurants , many offering live music at night. No visit to the area is complete without a Saranac Brewery Tour at the Utica Club Brewery (now known as the Matt Brewing Co.) located in the Varick Street district in Utica. Finish the tour with a stop in their vintage tavern and sample a cold fresh brewed beer (or root beer).
