The Old Kings Head at Brockdish (10 min drive) has an Italian-based menu with a large choice of delicious pizzas made in their pizza oven. Also on the menu are pasta dishes, salads and homemade desserts. The bar has over 250 gins and a choice of cocktails, as well as a selection of real ales from local microbreweries. The Fox and Goose is in the lovely village of Fressingfield and is only a 20-minute drive. The pub and restaurant is a grade 2 listed former Guildhall. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit for a special celebration and you will not be disappointed.

Wyken Vineyards (on the way to Bury St Edmunds) is worth a visit with a wonderful gift shop, restaurant, and a
lovely outside eating area and their gardens are open from 2pm on certain days. They also have a great Farmers' Market every Saturday morning.
