While you hop from food stand to food stand and go back and forth to the beach. Enjoy the peaceful waves at La Pocita or Vacía Talega, two secluded beaches where you can go swimming or soak in the sun.

A guided tour leads visitors through the Cueva Clara Empalme. In addition to the natural wonders the cave system presents, it's also interesting to note that the caves were used by the indigenous population long ago.

Take a tour, either in a boat or canoe, or a bioluminescent bay kayak trip after dark to experience this natural wonder. While this phenomenon occurs in other areas of Puerto Rico, this is this best place to experience it. Vieques can be reached by air or ferry, with ferries departing from Fajardo.

laya Puerto Nuevo is another must-visit beach. I would have to say it is on my Top-10 list of beaches in Puerto Rico.
Located on the north coast, in Vega Baja, about 45 minutes west of San Juan, it is just beautiful. Sometimes called the Balneario of Vega Baja, or Balneario Puerto Nuevo, it is has something for everyone.

Located on the north coast, in Vega Baja, about 45 minutes west of San Juan, it is just beautiful. Sometimes called the Balneario of Vega Baja, or Balneario Puerto Nuevo, it is has something for everyone.
laya La Esperanza is located on land owned by the Fideicomiso de Conservación de Puerto Rico (Puerto Rico Conservation Trust). The beach is only open Friday through Sunday, and holidays, from 8am to 6pm. At other times, the gate across the entrance is kept locked.
