We went on a guided tour in the mangroves-estuary with Stephen and his sweet dog, which made the trip fabulous. He knows so much about the wildlife and we saw manatees. He never rushed us along. A definite recommend!

We walked on our own and happened upon an alligator that was gobbling up a large snake. It was amazing. This was around 9:50 on a Sunday morning. Absolutely amazing walk-about experience. No fees for entry other than parking. A definite must visit!

This place is really fun and the workers are friendly. It has colorful rocking chairs out front which are nice to relax in as you eat your ice cream. The scoops are really large though, so order one scoop unless you are really hungry.

We had great food there and sat out on the patio in the shade. It is across from Ft. Myers River District, so you can walk over and eat delicious shrimp and other seafood delights.
