Lovely setting, with award-winning architecture and lovely attentive service. Sometimes you have to wait outside for a table to clear, but the menu is extensive and the food is of excellent quality. A top treat is to book the bottomless brunch or if you're visiting us on a weekend book the lobster night.

Don't go anywhere else for Fish n Chips!! Middle street fish and chip bar is the best in Kent. Food critic Jay Raynor rates it in his top ten in the UK. Visit for lunch, takeaway or sit in Dinner but get there early as they get very busy after 1830 and close by 2000. The service can be a little gruff, and they don't take card payments. But don't let that put you off, it will be one of the best fish and chips you've tasted.

A traditional English boozer with an amazing floral frontage in summer and live music outside on a Sunday afternoon. This area is busy and can be a little loud and rowdy as the three pubs - The Kingshead, the Port Arms and Dunkerleys all share a large outside area.

Awesome location at the foot of the White Cliffs. It serves nice pub food and is great for lunch. It's a lovely walk all along the beach promenade through Walmer and Kingsdown. It takes around 40 minutes unless you stop for crazy golf at Roman Landings and coffee and deli at Eva's off Walmer green.
