This is a MUST if you are traveling through the area Friday - Sunday! The bakery is family-owned and run and has amazing pastries, pies, breakfast sandwiches, bread, etc! Highly recommended! (Go early!)

This is a lovely town located 2 miles before you reach the town of Julian on the 79. There are several wineries, cider tasting rooms, antique shops, and several options for eating. Our favorite is the California Mountain Bakery!

Sightseeing

The sister park to the San Diego Zoo, the Safari Park boasts many wide open enclosures housing a variety of animals in their natural habitat. Several unique exhibits include the Australian Outback, with free roaming kangaroos and the only platypus outside of Australia, and a tram taking you on a tour of several of the expansive enclosures.
