There is something at this park to cater for kids of all ages! There are picnic tables, toilets, flying foxes, a playground train, bike / scooter tracks and plenty of shady spots to enjoy. Located a short 1.1km walk from your airbnb house.

Sightseeing
A nice flat 650m walk takes you to Ballinger Beach. It's the local dog beach so if you want to meet friendly locals and their gorgeous dogs this is the place to be. There are toilets and a coffee van there each morning (unless it's raining). From here you can choose to sit up on the deck to enjoy the beautiful views or watch the surfers. Next, you need to decide whether to walk North or South. Both will take you to some equally beautiful places! North - Currimundi Lake (cafes and swimming etc). South - Dicky Beach (patrolled), Dicky Beach Surf Club, cafes and Dicky Beach Skate Park. Meander past picturesque beaches such as Moffat Beach, Shelly Beach, Kings Beach and hit the restaurant scene in Caloundra! If you like walking, this walk is a must do!

One of the big MUST DO activities when you visit the Sunshine Coast. See the Irwins entertain with the unbelievable crocodile feeding show. Marvel at the African safari animals, laugh at the cute lemurs, splash in the waterpark and visit the wildlife hospital. We have travelled Australia and we absolutely rate this zoo as being one of the best!

There are many day trip options including the Glasshouse Mountains Lookout in Beerburrum and the Wildhorse Mountain Scenic Lookout in Coochin Creek. Make a day of it and challenge yourself with one of the many hikes or enjoy a casual lunch at a cafe with views! There is so much to explore in the Hinterlands.
