Neighborhoods

This section of Port Jefferson is called Harbor Hills. It is a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with friendly people. You can expect to see the family of wild turkeys that wander here as well as deer. Chipmunks have inhabited our yard this summer and they are entertaining to watch. At dusk, look up and you might catch a bat or two. But don't worry, they stay up high and are just looking for mosquitos.

City/town information

Once upon a time, Port Jefferson was a ship building town. It is now a lovely little village full of shops, restaurants, bars, parks, ice cream parlors and a brewery. I have a list of suggested restaurants on the fridge.
