Rideau Hall/ New Edinburgh Village

Sightseeing

Take a picnic in the park, alongside the Rideau River, with one-ever-kind views of the Parliament Hill and Union St Bridge. My 2 cents: If it just stopped raining, go for a walk on the bridge, you’ll catch romantic whimsical sceneries I’ve only ever seen before in Kyoto, Japan.

Many take a nice hiking trip to this park stretched alongside Ottawa River and the heritage Rock Cliff Park district. This park leads to the Rock cliff boathouse and a seasonal restaurant on the river. My 2 cents: This is a must to walk through in Fall to truly absorb all the wonderful colors of the season

This is one of the main natural landmarks of our city. Please don’t miss especially that’s only a 3-minute walk away. Chill by the falls, enjoying a drink and food at the Tavern on the Falls (seasonal restaurant).
