He is symbol of loyalty for people from Edinburgh due to the loyalty to his owner, who was a beggar from the city and when he passed away he stay with him, by his tomb until Bobby also died. You can visit his tomb in the cemetery just behind his statue. Children bring him flowers and sticks.
