A beautiful and not too crowded summer and fall hike. Drive to the end of coldwater campground next to lake Mary and park at the day use lot. There are many pristine lakes and meadows along the trail. Bring mosquito repellent!

Old Mammoth Road can get crowded, try taking Chateau Road to Minaret Road if you are driving to the Village or Main Lodge.
