City advice

Getting around

Light rail and bus services run regularly in the area

Note: Myway cards are the method for paying for public transport travel in Canberra. Bus and light rail no longer accept cash fares to be paid to the driver. Myway top up kiosks are available at Light Rail stops, and many CBD convenience stores also offer Myway purchasing and top up services.
Book before you go

Restaurant bookings recommended during peak periods

Restaurant bookings are highly recommended, especially during weekends, school holidays and parliamentary sitting periods. Most restaurants offer online reservation tools. For specific restaurant advice, please don't hesitate to get in touch, I'd be happy to provide a list of some great foodie destinations!
