Small bustling bistro with amazing food in Creekside (10 mins drive from village). It gets super busy. A reservation far in advance is a must. Kids menu available but catered more to adults. This is our favourite restaurant in Whistler.

Located right in the village. Great service and very good Italian food. More of a fine dine atmosphere but also great for families. They have a good kids menu. If travelling during shoulder seasons (spring and fall), lookout for a fantastic prefixed menu offer.

This is no longer Marketplace - it is Fresh Street Market. Located in the village with parking immediately outside (paid hourly). Large, newer grocery store with a variety of fresh and frozen items for easy heat-and-go meals. Nice bakery, meat and seafood section. HOT TIPS: Pique magazine (free with copies right outside the store) has a $10 coupon for orders over $100. Fresh Street also validates parking with $25 spend.

GLC is a great place for apres ski. It is located slope side, has a large heated patio, indoor seating and often has a DJ spinning tunes making it a lively, upbeat atmosphere. Food is okay - decent kids menu and my fav item is the ahi tuna bowl, but mainly a place to go for a post-ski drink. Great patio in the spring and summer as well.

Very popular for apres ski, especially with the younger crowd. On busy days, the patio turns into a dance floor with loud music and a live DJ. A fun place to watch mountain bikers fly down the hill in off-season.
