This is our favorite brunch spot. The Eggs Benny and the bacon are fantastic. Also great brunch drinks. Be sure to make a reservation if brunching on the weekends. Dinner is also amazing and they will bring you little surprises from the chef throughout the night. A fun twist on Americana and great vibe.

This is our favorite coffee in the neighborhood, started by Hugh Jackman and for a good cause! Also, check out the Duane St. location which is a hole in the wall with beautiful outdoor seating. We listed this place because it is the closest.

This is the best food court in the world. It features top level restaurants with a beautifully designed common eating area boasting amazing river/marina views. Amazing variety. Buy food and walk to the river for a picnic or enjoy one of the sit-down restaurants with al fresco dining and river views. Le District is the gem of this place, a French version of Eataly with fantastic options for cheese, meats, crepes, sandwiches, sweets, coffee and a little french grocery.

Parks & Nature

This is the highlight of the downtown parks. It is the reason people forego living near Central Park uptown. Tons of the greenspace, set on the river, with so many activities to choose from. Bring a picnic blanket. Bike along the path. Check out free toys or activities for the kids. Play basketball, outdoor pool, chess, handball, or take the kids to the spacious playground and swing area. There are duck ponds, the Marina, with public restrooms and so much fresh air.

Entertainment & Activities

This is one of the newest and nicest movie theatres in the city and steps away from the apartment. Great spot if you get caught in the rain. Also, check out the lobby of the hotel on your way in or out and grab a drink at the bar in the lobby or go to the rooftop bar by taking the elevator and enjoy a popsicle cocktail!
