Many a dreamer have walked those cobblestones. Films are constantly shot there and it's the official/unofficial NYU campus. Being my alma mater, I'm partially biased to the magic of the area. You can spend the whole day there and write a novel just on your surroundings constantly changing with such joie de vivre.

Here's where you run. Right alongside the water some of the most beautiful views of downtown can be seen. The boardwalk was recently re-done and very exercise friendly. Listening to music from your ear buds as you jog, you'll feel like your'e in a Nike commercial.
