A great place to see Alligators at certain times of the year. Best time to see gators is when the water is low and the weather is cool then many can be seen warming themselves on sandbars and the side of canals.

Interesting spring for diving and swimming. When I was a lot younger it was a favorite swimming hole for the local high school kids in the middle of a pasture along a dirt road. Now it is quite developed with a campground, dive shop etc.
