Tupelo has been nationally and internationally recognized for its food scene. Here are some of my faves!
Favorite breakfast spot! Great coffee and a great atmosphere! I enjoy building my own biscuits and protein bowls. Some of my favorite combos are: pork chop & apple butter biscuit and protein bowl with spicy chicken. You also can’t go wrong with the awesome yogurt parfait if you’re looking for a lighter option.

Hands down my favorite restaurant to visit for a fun night out or weekday lunch! Try one of the unique cocktail creations. For a lighter lunch, try the salmon salad.

A fun spot for a weekday breakfast or a sweet treat! Open in the evenings on the weekend and during the day on weekdays. They sell their amazing coffee also - the Roxanne blend is my fave (butterscotch caramel flavor).

Don’t miss this diamond in the rough! Blue Canoe totally changed the food and entertainment scene in Tupelo. Live music every night of the week and a killer menu with really innovative specials. This is a must-do while in Tupelo and is the most-cited favorite among all my guests!

There are a variety of fun drink options for coffee fanatics and critics alike. Bonus: Only a 1/4 mile walk from my place!

A newcomer to the Tupelo food scene that does not disappoint! Serving up everyone's favorite food options. I am a taco fiend, but I have to admit the pizza steals the show here. Try the candied jalapenos as a topping - incredible! The fun murals and interior design make it a very 'gram worthy spot for travelers as well.

I hope you get a chance to visit Vanelli's during your stay, and I doubly hope that you are lucky enough to meet the delightful owner, Voz. Delicious, authentic, and health conscious Greek and Italian food and a great atmosphere. Grab a single slice at lunchtime and have a nice walk around downtown.

Delicious, authentic, and health conscious Greek and Italian food and a great atmosphere. Grab a single slice at lunchtime and have a nice walk around downtown.
Do not miss the home of the best burger in America! You can’t go wrong with the smash burger, but check out the taco special of the day (salmon and tuna are my faves). Great craft beer selection of singles to build a six pack or enjoy with your meal.

Reed's is a Tupelo institution. Ask any local and they have a story about a special outfit they bought at Reed's. Of particular note, their children's department is outstanding! Find all good, Southern department store staples and some outdoors brands. Visit the gift shop and the book store for fun local treasures to carry back to your loved ones.

Entertainment
If you have the chance to catch a show at the community theater while you are in town, don't turn it down! The actors and directors are first-rate (I'm not biased at all), award-winning, and you will be shocked that a volunteer theatre organization can provide that level of entertainment. Also, if you don't get a chance to meet me during your stay because I'm terribly busy, just come by the theatre because there is a 99% chance that is where I am.
