Excellent and creative cuisine with local produce and locally inspired dishes. A favorite.
One on the north side of town and one on the south side of town. Open everyday, good Mexican food, reasonably priced, and fast. Very casual. Especially convenient if you're getting into town on the late side and are looking for an easy dinner. We've probably eaten here more than at any other restaurant in Taos.

Good for breakfast or lunch, moderately priced. They have tofu scramble. There are two locations and this is the one in the center of town. The other location a little north of town is a bit of a dive. I would not recommend it.

Probably the best loved New Mexican food in Taos by locals and visitors alike. Just be aware that you will probably have a 20 minute wait for a table. It's VERY popular. Personally, I like sitting at the counter and you may not have to wait as long to get seated there.
