It's a Starbucks. Nothing more or less. Always helpful for a quick caffeine rush in the morning.

A cool place to have a breakfast or brunch. We do like to go there even though it is a bit more pricey. Quality food and caffees though!

This Cafe/Bakery is close by and it is probably one of the best in the area. We love to go here.

One of our favorite Sushi spots. Make sure to be here before 7pm as you otherwise will end up in a line - it's just very known and liked. The food is not the cheapest but not super pricey either - little above average. The quality is great though.

Drinks & Nightlife

If you want to get a view from the highest rooftop bar in Singapore and Ce La Vie has already been checked on your bucket list, this is the place to go. You will be higher than in any other place in Singapore while enjoying a drink which you pay for with your entrance voucher. The bar is also a club, so if you visit the place during a club night you will be able to enjoy the view with nice DJ music and crowds. Wednesday is ladies night - lots of action (if it is not raining)

A bar with a breathtaking view onto the bay and the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Very good choice if you are after a special treat for you and your loved one in Singapore. It is a bit tricky to get there as the entrance is a bit hidden in the food court of the National Gallery. Once you found the elevator though you will find it.

It's a bar / night club / restaurant. Whichever one you choose to visit, you won't be disappointed - most likely. The view from this location on top of the Marina Bay Sands is just stunning. Whoever you take here, they will like it. The entrance is in the MBS hotel. In order to get in you need to pay an entrance fee of about 20SGD. This can be used as voucher though for a later drink in the bar - so basically you don't really pay entrance ;) In our opinion a must visit on your trip in Singapore

If you want to enjoy a day at the beach in Singapore you should visit the island Sentosa. There are beaches along the entire island, a huge yacht harbor, entertainment parks and plenty of attractions for big and small kids.

Pulau Ubin is an island northeast of mainland Singapore. Cycle trails and footpaths criss-cross the hills, going past disused granite quarries and traditional kampongs (villages). Kingfishers and bulbul birds inhabit the tidal flats and mangroves of the Chek Jawa Wetlands. The Jejawi observation tower and a looped boardwalk offer views of this area

An amazing place to see on of the biggest aquariums on this planet and teach kids facts about sea life. Also worth it as adult. We have been there twice and it was amazing, each time.

The Singapore Zoo is one of the best in the world and role model for most modern zoos. It shows animals in their habitat without huge fences or barriers creating an atmosphere as if you are standing right next to the animals. The zoo can cover an entire day if you want to discover all of it. Very recommendable is the Night Safari. It will show you nocturnal animals, which usually are sleeping over the day. An incredible experience and one of a kind. If you are visiting with small kids we would recommend to visit the place over the course of the day though. Book your tickets online as they are a few bucks cheaper. That will finance a nice and yummy ice cream.
