Innovative menu and great cocktails. Not to be missed while visiting Wellfleet. – Great place to eat lunch and dinner with an awesome sushi bar and freshly shucked to order oysters! Best bar in town with wonderful signature cocktails. Fun place to cozy up to the bar and watch oyster shucking action. The lobsterman on the roof is a homage to the Lobster Hutt, circa 1971.

Formerly, The Wellfleet Oyster House. The original structure houses the main dining room and it dates back to 1750. The building was floated across the bay from Billingsgate Island, which is now a mere sandbar visible only at low tide. Through the years additions were made to the building as it went from residence to restaurant. T There were quite a few popular restaurants here, but one of the most beloved was, undeniably, the Wellfleet Oyster House. We LOVE The Wicked Oyster, wonderful dinners and fabulous breakfasts. It’s best to RESERVE a table ahead of time.

Surprisingly good fresh fish – BYOB - looks like a little touristy but that's a good thing. They do have great food, reasonable prices and so kid friendly! If there is a long line, no worries it goes fast OR OPT to do TAKE OUT and bring back to the house for an outdoor picnic! It's worth the trip!

Terrace dining, great people watching. Lovely bar upstairs and good wine list. General Manager is Tracey Barry Hunt and her husband is Chef Phillip Hunt who hails from South Africa and created a kick ass menu and wine list. This wonderful place is owned and operated by The Barry Family, (also own and operate Moby Dick’s) The historic building was first constructed in 1805 as a home for a sea captain and was once the summer residence of former Massachusetts' Governor Channing Cox. In the 1920's, Governor Cox hosted President Calvin Coolidge here for a weekend. The building has been a restaurant for over 50 years.

Closed September 2023. One of my favorites, love this neo pagan hotspot. A wonderful dinner spot, out of the way on Route 6A. The food is awesome and the desserts are incredible. Rustic, quaint kitchen serving inventive Italian/Mediterranean dishes & specialty cocktails.
