Personal favourite for brunch in Østerbro! Especially the vegetarian one. Coffee comes from the place next door, Kontra Coffee, where you can also buy coffee to bring home.

Great Vietnamese restaurant just across the street from us. The Pho with beef is great and the "vegetarian duck" (tofu that's marinated to look like duck) is amazing. Also take-away!

If you long for a real American breakfast, this is the closest you'll get in Copenhagen: pancakes with maple syrup, eggs, hashbrowns and a bottomless cup of coffee (which is very rare here!)

Closest place to get a soy latte with ginger, if that's your kind of thing. :-) They also make sandwiches and of course, juice. Popular chain in Copenhagen, you'll see it many place around.

A great rooftop cafe that overlooks the city. It's inside the Post-museum. The brunch in the weekends is worth it but can be busy. http://www.cafehovedtelegrafen.dk/en/

A very famous, old-fashioned hot chocolate place that serves really nice cakes. More of a winter than a summer thing but always worth the visit. Can be quite crowded though. http://laglace.dk/

Good for walking/running and getting a great view of Copenhagen's waterside. The fortification is still guarded and old army houses are still intact. From the top, you can see the Opera house.
