The Portland Saturday Market is a fun way to spend a couple hours on the West Side of the Waterfront of the Willamette. You get the full flavor of Portland Culture and weirdness at the PSM. If you are lucky you will see the Unipiper, who is a bag pipe playing, kilt wearing, Darth Vader look-a-like. Reopens the first weekend in March and runs until December 24th each year. It is a combination of arts, jewelry, pottery, clothing, entertainment: henna, music, and street performers. There are food booths, beer and wine tasting, roasted almonds, ice cream, and more. The Portland Saturday Market is open on Saturdays from 11 to 4pm and on Sundays too: noon to 4pm. I'd love to know what you spent your tourist dollars on at the PSM.
