Sightseeing

Must visit, Ceaucescu's enormous parliament building. Check their website to reserve a tour (can only visit with a guide). 10-12 minute walk from the apartment (use Google maps for the short-cuts using back streets)

The biggest park in Bucharest. In the summertime, there are always events organised (especially for children). There is a large lake in the center of the park, and nice terraces along the lake
