Our favorite place to dine out, Sam makes a daily menu based on what he's foraged, fished, or bought from small farms. It hits the mark every time and is wholly unpretentious and fun. Natural wines, cocktails, and local ciders on the menu. Walk-in's welcome. https://sammysdeluxe.weebly.com

Parks & Nature

After breakfast and antiquing in Liberty, head to the state park entrance at Lake St. George where you can rent a canoe or kayak by the hour or by the day. If you're just looking for a place to swim, go toward the Lake St. George Brewery and turn left (Marshall Shore Rd). Down the road a bit you'll come upon a small area for parking, and swimming access.

This is the place to grab picnic provisions, a cold-brew, and the best bread (sourdough, wood-fired, legit baguettes and ciabatta) in the mid-coast. Head to the beach afterwards (The end of Howe Pt. Road is the local ((secret)) beach access spot in Lincolnville).
