Starting at Olives Market in Function Junction, its a cool hike along a train track to an abandoned and graffitied train wreck in the forest, you'll need to google this one or ask the clerk in Olives for directions.

There is a large lake central to the park, with easy and moderate hiking and biking trails around. In the wintertime this is a favourite spot for cross country skiing!

A beautiful park with iconic views of both mountains. This is a family friendly spot to spend a summer day with the beach and docks to swim at. Free beach volleyball courts are also available for open public use.

Easily the best bakery and coffee shop in the village. You will be amazed at the range and presentation of all the baked goods you can feast on! The raspberry brownie, and hummingbird cake is my favourite. They also make well priced (and delicious!!) cakes to order for say a birthday or other event- just need 24 hours notice.

Amazing breakfasts, lunch and dinner options. And a very short walk from the Lookout, just a the base of the hill near the gondola. The eggs Benedict's are divine! (If you know and love Australian cafes, this is the closest in Whistler to the quality of "brunch" I was used to!)

Another favourite eatery, and its very close to The Lookout- just at the base of the hill, under the Fairmont Chateau. A great place to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner at a reasonable price. The maple bacon donut is hands down the best donut you will ever eat- iconically Whistler- but go early as they are often sold out by the end of the day.
