I love walking along the lake when the weather is nice! Not the most impressive 'beach' but still a nice place to spend an afternoon or take a coffee and enjoy a bit of a break from the city!

Food Scene

Amazing pastries - almond croissant is my favourite, but all of them (sweet and savoury) are yummy. Excellent coffee as well, and the chai latte is good too! Not much room to sit in here though, so it's a pick up and go kind of spot!

One of the yummiest spots in the city! Tasty Nicaraguan cuisine in a family-run restaurant. Not a fancy place but really tasty food at super reasonable prices. I love the veg plate (and you must try the nicaraguan fried cheese!) but my meat loving friends love the other options too!
