Drinks & Nightlife

The Local Hotel is an iconic old hotel building, and is the local community place to go in Fremantle and South Freo. It has a very cool vibe and just has a comfortable spot for everybody, no matter what age or mood you're in or whatever the weather. It's cozy in winter and cool in summer. For pub food it's simply the best, innovative and delicious. ‘The Garage' - is a big fresh relaxed garden area, where they also have sumptuous weekend breakfasts with great coffee. They have an excellent array of craft beers, fine wines and huge liquor selection. All at reasonable prices. There are local drink n draw sessions - life drawing on Wednesdays (you need to book because it’s always full)! Trivia quizz nights Thursday’s, interviews interspersed with some live acoustic music with local musicians on Thursday’s in ‘The Garage’. Live footy games - when WA teams play. Highly recommend.

This fabulous Brazillian inspired Wine bar specialises in naturally produced wines, and fresh sustainable and inspired seafood. Great beers too! There’s gorgeous live music most evenings. Our fave is a little Brazillian band playing in the back corner on Thursday nights. It’s beautiful at sunset with a view across the park to the beach. They’ve just been awarded a top 5 finalist in the Australian good food awards!
