The best breads, rolls, danishes, etc. in town. They serve coffee and danishes, and while you are there you might just want to pick up a loaf of bread to go!

Mom's Pie is a delicious place to stop and get a nice piece of pie topped with ice cream, or take a whole pie to go! It is roughly a mile from my ranch. This is my daughter's favorite pie in all of Julian! There are several pie shops, so you can taste them all yourself over a long weekend. Julian is known for our apple pie!

4510 CA-78Mom's Pie is a delicious place to stop and get a nice piece of pie topped with ice cream, or take a whole pie to go! It is roughly a mile from my ranch. This is my daughter's favorite pie in all of Julian! There are several pie shops, so you can taste them all yourself over a long weekend. Julian is known for our apple pie!
Jeremy's is a wonderful farm to table restaurant with organic options! Jeremy is a wonderful chef and has delightful dishes for you to try. Because it is farm to table, the dishes change with availability. If you are looking for a romantic lunch/dinner, this is your spot in Julian!

the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is where animals from the San Diego Zoo get to relax in a natural environment. Take the tram around the park to see hippos, giraffes, deer, and wild goats all existing in large open fields like they do in Africa. They also have a lion exibit where you will get to see them roam and maybe even climb on a vehicle left for them!
For those unaware, the Zoo raises babies here and rotates animals from the exhibits as needed. I love this environment better than the Zoo because they get to graze, wander, etc just as they do in the wild.
