Food Scene

Easily my favourite restaurant in Hong Kong, not even because its right next door. Incredible food, they're only open for dinner during the week and do a brunch on the weekends. You really need to book ahead, no one can get a table usually. Closed on Tuesdays. Sri Lankan Fusion food I guess? It's amazing, try it out.

This family cafe serves home cooked food, its extremely cheap and the coffee is good. It also has a little courtyard and is my go to for a friendly place to work.

Drinks & Nightlife

Awesome awesome little gin bar just down the road from the apartment. Enter the red door. This place was an old ping pong hall now turned gin bar. Awesome drinks and vibe.

I love this little bar. You can play your own music, the bar owner is an absolute legend and drinks are incredibly cheap. You can basically do anything you want in this bar, it's such a hidden little gem.

Parks & Nature

I do this hike almost every day! The Morning Trail leads up to the Peak. It's a slight mission getting to the start of the trail (maybe 15 mins of walk to the start) but such a good way to start the morning. Walk along Lugard Rd when you get to the top of the Peak and witness absolutely stunning views.

This place between 6am and 9am is people watching central. You'll walk around and see old ladies doing tai chi, and old people playing on the playground. It's quite epic. Also awesome views of the harbour.
