Our family gets coffee here every morning. It was updated recently by a local Chef. Great pastries, coffee and breakfast. If you go early you will bump elbows with famous surfers and long time fisherman.

Shopping

You have to drive six miles downtown to get to the major grocery store. Weekends traffic is bad so we shop before the weekend. Otherwise we buy vegetables from the Farmer's Daughter Vegetable stand on Hwy 1 North about 100 meters. Or the Coastside Market which is also north and less traffic two miles.

If you want fresh organic non GMO stuff this is the place. It is a local favorite but a little pricey. It is comparable to whole foods and has a hot food bar if you don't feel like cooking or eating out.

Essentials

We go to the Coastside Market on the weekends. They have a small produce section, chips and guacamole and they are known for having the best Wine selection in town. They are across the street from a GREAT playground, Moss Beach park.

Getting Around

I drive to the Colma BART station and park my car there and take public transit into San Francisco. It is so easy and fast. I think you also get to see more different kinds of people.
