But do try the cheddar grit cakes, with a side of red eye gravy to dip in. They say the spice is for flavor and not heat. Music on certain nights - call or check online calendar for dates.

Also a couple of pavilions, and an ice cream shop, right next to a nature center that hosts community activities (Moosewood). The infamous Black Rocks are located here. The worlds oldest exposed piece of volcanic rock! Many daring folks jump off of them into Lake Superior but don't say I sent you! Ask a local or watch someone first.
