Visitors can visit a WW II warship painstakingly refurbished. Inspect the 4 inch gun, the bridge complete with wheel, compasses, radar screen and more. See the chart house over, the refurbished officer’s cabins & their wardroom. Get down amongst the powerful reciprocating steam engines. Ask a guide to explain how things work. Visitors can also inspect in what was the crew's mess a fascinating collection of nautical exhibits & memorabilia of the past, recording aspects of Australia's heritage.
