Any trip to Perth sin't complete without a trip to Freo. It feels like another city within Perth. You can walk around the coffee strip and shopping precinct, check out MANY, drive down to South Fremantle where there are great cafes, or stop off at North Freo/ Leighton Beach.

Northbridge used to be seedy but now it's a place we regularly go. Great eateries include Young Love Mess Hall, Bivouac, Lucky Chan's Noodle Laundry, The Hummus Club. There is also great shopping along William Street to check out in the day.

Cottesloe is an iconic beach and I prefer it to Scarborough beach. Il Lido is a great restaurant on the Cottesloe strip.
