Arts & Culture

The Palace of Parliament, also known as the People's House, is a mandatory destination for tourists visiting Bucharest. The People's House it is the largest building from Europe, is on the 3rd place in the most imposing buildings in the world with its hideous but impressive description. The building has 4 underground levels and 2 antiatomic shelters. A lot of underground tunnels. First as "weight" with 1 million cubic meters of marble and 700,000 tons of steel and bronze and 3,500 tons of crystal. The building overtakes 2% of the Keops pyramid volume in Egypt, the underground has eight more levels, and was almost exclusively made of Romanian materials.
