This restaurant is considered one of the best in Vancouver - a fusion of Chinese and French. They don't take reservations, but no problems as you can see their front door from the terrace, so you'll know when they are busy. The plates are meant to be shared. Note the photos on the wall, are the owner's family historical photos. Enjoy!

Are you heading over to Yaletown? If so, book yourself in at West Oak for a delicious dinner. Just say you know 'Peter'. If it's Thursday to Saturday be sure to head to Pierre's apres, the private champagne bar at the back.

An ode to the art of British Columbia, tucked up next to Whistler Village in a stunning Patkau-designed building this gorgeous museum opened in 2016. Funded by the well-known and respected local philanthropist Michael Audain. They are an independent, local business created out of passion, enthusiasm and a belief that floating, as a practice, can help the majority of people who decide to lie down in a float tank. The float tank (isolation tank or sensory deprivation tank) is an amazingly simple yet powerful tool that can enhance ones overall living experience. Whether you use it for personal development, physiological benefits, psychological benefits or a combination of sorts, we believe it has the ability to deeply aid and impact anyone who sets forth into the warm, cozy, silky blackness. Perfect for a rainy day!
