Foxburg Pizza for breakfast, lunch or dinner, more relaxed food, also take out, they also sell beer by the 6 pack. Call for takeout: 724-659-0123
Foxburg Winery, across the parking lot from the Allegheny Grill.
Divani Chocolatier & Barista coffee shop, with great chocolates, and ice cream.
Emlenton has gas, a IGA grocery store, and a beer distributor also canoe and kayak rentals.
Walmart is 22 miles away in Seneca PA
Hiking is from:
The parking lot in Foxburg down the river, about 4 miles of paved walk, good for bikes and walking. You can also continue down river on the dirt road beyond the paved walkway.
In Emlenton, go all the way up river past the post office etc. and you will come to a parking lot, leading to the paved walk up river, that goes more the 30 miles thru 2 tunnels, that you will need a flashlight to see in.
Also you can hike from our cottage down to the river, going past a 150 year old rock quarry, just ask us where the trail is. Also the Allegheny National Forest is about 30 miles away from the cottage.
