Provides the perfect jumping-off point for short or long trips in the Preserve and adjacent Alum Rock Park. Hikers & cyclists can head southeast to the southern end of Sierra Vista (equestrians are restricted from the eastern portion of Sierra Vista Trail). Alternately, all trail users can travel from the staging area to southwest Alum Park. The trails boast grand sweeping views and cool canyons and offer a backcountry experience just minutes away from a major urban center.
