I love this little park. It's like a little old growth forest running right through town with a lovely creek babbling down to the lake. Beautiful walk during all seasons.

I love Fremont. Quintisential Seattle neighborhood. Started out as an arts community and then got hip and upscale. Restaurants, great clothing shops, PCC, great views of the canal and house boat.

Only one hour from Seattle! In the summer & fall you can head into the alpine lakes wilderness. Try the "snow lakes" hike - the trail head is at the end of the road to the Alpental ski area.

The old Burke-Gilman railroad was turned into a paved biking and walking path. I love taking a ride from green lake out to shilshole Marina. The path stays along the water winding through Fremont.
