This is a great place to stop and eat when you're going to or coming from Leland or the Sleeping Bear Dunes. A family owned restaurant that has remained the same for decades - a family favorite.

Shopping

Fishtown in Leland is a great place to grab lunch and visit shops. Here you can get a sense for how a Great Lakes commercial fishing wharf looked back in its heyday. You can charter a sport fishing excursion here, and you can get all the fishing tackle you need in this area.

Go bowling and play some arcade games on a rainy day or sit down and eat in the sprawling bar and restaurant (well... "sprawling" for Northport, anyway :)).

Parks & Nature

Do yourself a favor and watch the sunset from Peterson Park. There's nothing quite like it. You can also hike down to the shore and hunt for petoskey stones, or have a grill out in the park.
