Such a nice place, so many cool upcycled and pre-loved pieces of furniture to look at. A lovely bright warm atmosphere and the cakes are amazing!

Perfect for special occasions - it's a steak house so it's not going to be for those on a budget but if you want to celebrate or splash out then yes, the food is unbelievable. They also do Sunday brunch which is reasonably priced. Cool decor and nice atmosphere.

Great place. Everything from brunch, dinner and a bar. It's large and spacious. Great daily specials and warm buzzing atmosphere. Book at the weekends for dinner - it gets busy.

Although a traditional pub - this place also does fantastic food including one of the finest breakfasts in Leith. One of the oldest pubs on the Shore it's a favourite for locals and visitors.

One of my favourite restaurants. It's modern French cuisine, bright spacious surroundings in the bonded warehouse in Leith. Attentive staff and great wine list.

Brunch! Or for a coffee or a drink in the evening. It's a fancy hotel but this large and impressive building has a very colourful history dating back hundreds of years when the Shore was a busy port swamped with sailors looking for on-land entertainment. (look it up - it's fascinating).

Sightseeing

Now, I was never particularly bothered or a fan of the Queen and Royal Family etc etc, but had a chance to visit this beautiful boat and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great history, interesting tales of the Royals holidaying for years onboard this yacht. There's also a lovely cafe on-board.

Drinks & Nightlife

Small but perfectly formed. Seating booths made from reclaimed whisky barrels. Friendly staff, good selection of drinks (prosecco on tap :-) Good bar nibbles and sometimes live music.

This is a traditional pub for people who live in the area. The owners seem to really like horse racing and football judging by the decor. Nice pint or glass of wine, nothing fancy and comfortably old fashioned pub rather than bar. Friendly staff behind the bar and sometimes even karaoke

I love this tiny quirky and fun bar - borderline kitsch so you'll love or hate the style (I love - reminds me of my grandmothers living room). They have a great selection of drinks and are open late. There's a little room at the back where they sometimes screen films or hold vintage clothing sales.

This place is ideal when the weather is nice - there is a large outdoor area to sit and have a drink out on the dock. Though inside is cosy and warm on more 'Scottish days' (wet). If you want a vast array of local beers and whisky to sample then this is certainly the place for you.
