The Wall bar is great for lunch, but can be “ski resort priced”. They do serve a wholesome Bloody Mary, if you’re so inclined.

Cornice (known to locals as what used to be Bub’s), has had a few false starts since Vail took over, but has finally found its groove with pizza that’s bound to delight the kids. A good place for beer and watching the game on TV as well!

If you visit South Lake, sushi at the bar at Naked Fish is absolutely great. Ask for the live scallops if they have them, and get a can of "Live Sake" (Kikusui Funaguchi).
