Food Scene

On the top floor of an eclectic Havana tenement . La Guarida's rest on its movie locations setting. Fresa y Chocolate The food is up to the chef special menu. there would be a mix of captivating blend of nueva cocina Cubana into dishes as sea bass in mango sweet sauce, or perhaps something like frijoles dormidos meaning …sleeping black beans ;) You need to call for Reservations is required and somehow a bit tricky. Try to have a table on the terrace, al fresco over the stars. Yeah! now we are all good.

Is a cool combination from old to new decoration . The food is a nice mix gazpacho, ceviche, to grill fish .They are also up to combine and give you the option of the veggies dishes. With a great of cocktails they have good bartenders. Go to the rooftop terrace, Good tapas, and good people, and again the cocktails are the best and when I say the best is because they really are the best undoubtedly.

Keep it simple with the creole cuban food . It’s a good flavour as your grandma might have cooked you. In my case I'm Vegetarian and yes occasionally you can find delicious dishes here at this place. Salads, croquettes, and the different type of rices with black beans and sweet plantains. From a pretty spot next to the cathedral. The rest is history or it soon will be

Havana's most famous jazz club is on La Rampa, and opens its door nightly at 10 pm to long lines of committed music friends . Enter through a red English phonebook and decent into cramped smoky basement . The freestyle jazz here is second to none, and in the past the club has hosted such big names as Chucho Valdès and George Benson

Music, drinks, local art, food and more ... In and old building factory converted in an art center, a good view of culture local and international artists . There are different floor and rooms dedicated to different artistic mediums, photography, film and even local cuban designers. They have a room for dance, and lisent to live music if it is part of the program performance of the night . Definitely is a place that you must check out, if you would like to get a bit involved with the hipster style-life spirit of the cuban artists, and even the coolest foreign get to mix and hang out here ... Not to miss.

This must be one of the best Bars in town . The atmosphere is laid back, funky style, boheme and eclectic decor. They have a beautiful Piano and when the pianist play you would experience one of the most charming enjoyment . Cocktails are tasted and the atmosphere is cool Is located close to the Capitolio and the Portagas Cigar on the Avenue Barcelona . The food is not the best but certainly you will find some Spanish tapas to share with your friends .

Cabaret Parisian in the Hotel Nacional is still well worth a look, especially if you're staying in or around Vedado. It's the usually mix of frills feather and semi- naked women in a cool Burlesque Show.
