This pub was taken over a couple of years ago by local musicians. It serves great pizza is open late and has music on nearly every night. Great selection of beers etc.

Parks & Nature
This park was refurbished to it's former Victorian stature just a couple of years ago and is a great park for picnics, sports has a lovely pavilion cafe open every day of the week big open spaces, a running course, tennis and a big pond with swans, geese and other aquatic birds.

Arts & Culture
10 minute walk across the Mancunian way walkway bridge, situated just down and directly off our Street. Not only a theater but has a gallery, 3 or 4 cinemas showing avante guard and the lesser known films. It also has a great bar. Formerly the "Corner House" this is it's new premises in the middle of Tony Wilson Square and surrounded by bars and a restaurants.
